By purchasing, downloading, or using the HUD NSPIRE Property Inspection Compliance Kit, checklists, scoring spreadsheets, or associated materials (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Service.
NSPIRE Defense is an independent private publishing company. We are NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC), or any municipal public housing agency.
Official federal standards are public domain materials established under Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations (24 CFR Part 5 Subpart G) and published in the Federal Register.
The Service is provided exclusively for internal property management self-audit, educational preparation, and administrative workflow efficiency. The Service does NOT constitute licensed legal advice, certified architectural engineering, or an official governmental inspection certification. Property owners remain solely responsible for the actual physical safety and legal habitability of their properties under applicable federal, state, and municipal building codes.
Upon verified payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license based on your purchased tier:
Redistribution, public hosting, reselling, or sub-licensing of the underlying files to third parties without express written authorization is strictly prohibited.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we make every commercially reasonable effort to ensure our checklists mirror current HUD Federal Register notices, we make no warranties, express or implied, that use of this product will guarantee a passing inspection score, prevent voucher abatement, or overturn REAC citations upon appeal.
In no event shall NSPIRE Defense, its operators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of rental subsidies or repair costs, arising from the use of this Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
